VALUE FOR PAY
In 2017, SCS began work with SMUD, the 6th largest public utility in the country. As a community-owned, not-for-profit electric service, SMUD serves over 1.5 million customers in Sacramento County and parts of Placer County. Our team works to improve SMUD's 'Value for what you pay' score. The 'VFP' metric measures customers' perception of value for what they pay SMUD based off the customer experience. Through in-person interviews, surveys, and data analytics our objective is to help SMUD reach it's targeted VFP score by 2021. By ensuring consistent and transparent communication, we believe the customer experience with SMUD will progress by leaps and bounds.
